Elle a publi\u00e9 depuis une dizaine d&#8217;albums d&#8217;ambient music sur des labels prestigieux tels que <strong>Atak<\/strong>, <strong>Non Visual Object<\/strong>, <strong>Room40<\/strong> ou <strong>Dragon&#8217;s Eye Recording<\/strong>. Elle a notamment collabor\u00e9 avec <strong>Thomas Phillips<\/strong> et <strong>Martin Treteault <\/strong>et invent\u00e9 un concept d&#8217;\u00e9coute en live bas\u00e9 sur l&#8217;exploration des sensations de l&#8217;auditoire appel\u00e9 <em>Immersound<\/em>, pour lequel elle a re\u00e7u la reconnaissance du Conseil qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de la musique en 2013. Depuis 2012, elle produit une musique toujours plus raffin\u00e9e et exigeante, mais cette fois sous son nom de bapt\u00e8me. Apr\u00e8s <strong><em>Valence<\/em><\/strong> chez <strong>Line <\/strong>en 2012, <strong><em>The Illusion Of Infinitesimal <\/em><\/strong>est paru en d\u00e9but d&#8217;ann\u00e9e chez <strong>Baskaru<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;oeuvre de la montr\u00e9alaise impressionne par ses manifestations m\u00e9tamusicales. Sa puissance d&#8217;absorption r\u00e9v\u00e8le son affinit\u00e9 \u00e9trange avec la transe inductive. L&#8217;artiste, qui se joue constamment des lois de la perception auditive et des \u00e9chelles de grandeur, \u00e9voque elle-m\u00eame des liens organiques avec la physique quantique: de multiples concentrations focales font syst\u00e9matiquement appara\u00eetre des univers dissimul\u00e9s sous les couches les plus apparentes du spectres sonore, dans un embo\u00eetement qui para\u00eet infini.<\/p>\n<p>Ces deux univers se conjuguent constamment \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur des trois longues compositions de <strong><em>The Illusion Of Infinitesimal<\/em><\/strong> pour donner lieux \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e8nements sonores particuli\u00e8rement denses et abstraits: glissements tectoniques imperceptibles, formations d&#8217;ectoplasmes, diffractions harmoniques\u2026etc. La musique de <strong>Jobin<\/strong>passe ainsi ais\u00e9ment de l&#8217;ambient au minimalisme &#8211; voir \u00e0 ses occurrences les plus extr\u00eames &#8211; et explose all\u00e8grement la fronti\u00e8re entre sonorit\u00e9s digitales et analogiques.
